DEZE WORKSHOP IS IN HET ENGELS – Carolina is gewend aan internationale gezelschappen en laat alles goed zien, ook zal er iemand van de organisatie in de zaal zijn die eventueel kan assisteren als je iets niet begrijpt.

In this class the attendees will learn how to sew curved shapes with your sewing machine. I will explain you step by step, in detail, how to make these beautiful shapes, which will give you the possibility to freely create shapes on your quilts. In addition, I will show you 3 variants of these forms (one form on top of another, one form next to another and one form within another) and I will give you ideas to inspire you in your next creations.

Materials Needed:
• 1 fat quarter of your background fabric (solid or prints)
• Four 10” squares of fabric (different colors). These squares will be your organic shapes, can be solids or prints
• 2 colors of threads, one in a contrasting color with your background fabric and another in a matching color with your background fabric.
• Pencil / paper (for drawing)
• Seam ripper
• Scissors whit a fine point for cutting fabrics
• Washable glue with a fine point applicator (could be a Helmer’s glue or Roxane glue for basting).
• Fabric marker (erasable)
• Starch spray for Ironing.
• Zipper foot or basic sewing foot (A) (is aanwezig in de workshopruimte)

• Sewing machine (is aanwezig in de workshopruimte)

• Iron and ironing table (is aanwezig in de workshopruimte)
